We work hand in hand with SDGs 8 and 10, promoting inclusive, safe, and decent employment, seeking to reduce inequalities and promote equal opportunities.

At Yoi Sustainability, we work hand in hand with SDG 3 “Health and Wellbeing”. In order to promote the construction of sustainable business models, we seek to contribute, from the business and organizational sphere, to guaranteeing a healthy life and promoting people's well-being.

At Yoi Sustainability we offer training in Sustainable Gastronomy, Restaurant Management, Assertive Communication, Elevator Pitch, Sustainable World 1, 2 and 3 and Circular Economy, adaptable to the needs of each case. By helping to generate change in the way businesses are managed, we work hand in hand with SDG 4. We are convinced that by promoting and facilitating learning opportunities it is possible to shape sustainable business models.

Environmental Perspective

Reduce

At Yoi Sustainability, we seek to reduce the volume of waste generated by our clients. Here are some tips:

  • Carry out composting in our homes to reduce the waste generated in our kitchens and gardens.

  • Think twice before buying a product

  • Reduce your water and energy consumption; avoid water leaks and unplug appliances that you do not use.

3R Tips

Recycling:

At Yoi Sustainability, we seek to raise awareness among our customers about recycling, as through this process, we can obtain new products from already used materials. This reduces the need to extract new raw materials from nature. Some ways to recycle are:

  • Reuse plastic, glass, aluminum and cardboard containers, among others.

  • Reuse rainwater to water plants.

  • Reuse paper on both sides.

Reuse:

At Yoi Sustainability, we encourage our customers to reuse their resources, either in the management of the same process or for another purpose. The goal is to extend the useful life of the resource and not to turn it into waste. Here are some tips:

  • Recycle wet and dry waste, by making compost.

  • Recycle paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum and plastics by separating them at source.

  • Recycle single-use plastics by making Eco Bottles.

Climate

It is essential that we reflect on the magnitude and impact of climate change. We seek to generate sustainable habits in order to mitigate it and thus reduce the potential effects of global warming. At Yoi Sustainability, we help businesses to become sustainable models by measuring their ecological footprint and proposing actions to rectify and recover it.

Our planet

We are committed to raising awareness among the population about the importance of our planet and its preservation. We seek to generate alliances globally across all sectors to promote measures towards environmental sustainability . At You Sustainability we believe it is necessary and we help each one take responsibility and act, innovate and develop all the activities necessary for this purpose from the role that we have to occupy in society.

Water

Only 3% of the total is fresh water, and only 0.8% is suitable for consumption. The United Nations estimates that around 2.2 billion people do not have access to safely managed drinking water.

There are countless tips to reduce water consumption, reuse it and take care of it. At Yoi Sustainability we promote some that align with SDG 6 in the search to guarantee the availability and access to water without losing sight of its care and sustainable management.

Eliminate waste and contamination

At Yoi Sustainability we always seek to manage all of our clients' resources in the most efficient way in order to generate the least amount of waste possible. We also promote their circularity to be able to introduce them to the market as new resources and thus avoid the generation of waste that ends up polluting the environment.

We align ourselves with SDG 12 by proposing responsible forms of production and consumption from the beginning of the project to implement circular economies in the market.

At Yoi we work to achieve the efficiency of materials from the moment they are resources until they become products and we raise awareness of Extended Producer Responsibility . We seek to reduce the waste generated and consider any discard as a potential asset . In accordance with this Principle, we align ourselves with SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 12 , Responsible Production and Consumption.

Regenerate nature

At Yoi Sustainability we promote the preservation and enhancement of natural capital by balancing the flow of natural resources. The importance of implementing sustainable techniques in projects lies in the fact that it improves efficiency and allows a conscious remediation of the impacts that the traditional system generates in the environment. We are aligned with SDG 7, Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 12, Responsible Consumption and Production.

Sustainable Tourism

Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns

A tourism sector that adopts sustainable consumption and production practices can play a significant role in the transition to sustainability. To this end, as stated in target 12.b of goal 12, it is imperative to “Develop and implement tools to monitor impacts on sustainable development, in order to achieve sustainable tourism that creates jobs and promotes local culture and products.”
